HATTIESBURG, Miss – The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference today announced the players of the week for the week of February 21 - 27, 2005. Fredericko Payne of LSUS was selected as the men's player of the week for the 4th time this season.  Payne averaged 22.5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in leading the Pilots to victories over Dillard and William Carey.  He recorded 29 points in the victory over the Crusaders which gave LSUS a share of the regular season conference title and the number 1 seed in the conference tournament.  Fredericko is a 5-10 junior guard from Dubach, LA.
