Mark Cantrell begins his first year as the Sports Information Director and will assist Coach Jones with Men's and Women's Soccer.  Cantrell received his degree from the College of Liberal Arts, with a Bachelors of Arts Degree from LSUS (Spring 2006).

Cantrell is no stranger to LSUS athletics, he has been the voice of the LSUS Baseball team since 2004.

He is married to the former Jennifer Rigdon (May 19, 2007). The two reside in Shreveport and are the proud parents of Elizabeth Jane (Oct. 13, 2009-6lbs, 3oz.)
