LSUS Alumni Association Announces New Board Members (6/9/2009)

            The LSU Shreveport Alumni Association recently announced its 2009-2010 Board of Directors.  The new president is Scott R. Wolf, J.D. (BCJ ’96), associate with Blanchard, Walker, O’Quin & Roberts.  Serving as vice president is Brian K. Wooten, M.A. (BS ’91), executive director, Brentwood Research Institute.  The treasurer is David B. Harmon (BA ’78), owner/president, Whitehall Land Services.  The secretary is Richard C. Young, CFSP, (BGS ’77), owner/president Young Equipment Solutions, Inc.

New members of the board are William R. Altimus (BGS ’77), Bossier Parish administrator; Chenita Ary McDonald, M.Ed. (BA ’92, M.Ed. ’96), assistant principal, Youree Drive Middle School; and Lane M. Rosen, M.D. (BS ’90), director, Radiation Oncology at Willis Knighton Cancer Center.

Continuing members of the board are Michael D. Bradford, MBA (BS ’90, MBA ’97), vice president, Commercial Banking, Capital One Bank; John M. Easom, CPA (BS ’88), president, Fast Tax Service, Inc.; Hardy D. Foreman, CPA (BS ’99), tax manager, Roberts, Cherry and Company; Lisa J. Johnson (BA ’90), executive director, Bossier Chamber of Commerce; Brian R. Pasquier (BGS ’02), commercial value stream leader, McElroy Metal, Inc.;  Mary D. Rounds (M.Ed. ’80), principal, Caddo Parish Magnet High School; J. Casey Simpson, J.D. (BA ’90), attorney/negotiator, Deep South Surplus; and Chief Henry L. Whitehorn, Sr. (BCJ ’86), Shreveport Chief of Police.

Retiring members of the board who were honored at the annual meeting are Randall E. “Randy” Brown, MBA (BS ’85), advertising manager, Bossier Press-Tribune; The Honorable Frances J. Pitman, J.D., M.C.D. (BA ’77), judge, First Judicial District Court, Caddo Parish; and Edie B. Williams (BGS ’88), community volunteer.
