| Three LSU Shreveport faculty members in the College of Business Administration received awards for their contribution to the college in teaching, research and service. Dr. Richard Peters received an award in teaching, Dr. Binshan Lin, in research and Dr. Sanjay Menon in service. An additional award was given to Mike Simon for his dedication to the college.
Richard Peters, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of management and joined the faculty in 2007. Binshan Lin, Ph.D., who began teaching at LSUS in 1988, is a professor of management and holds the BellSouth Corporation Professorship in Business Administration. Sanjay Menon, Ph.D. is associate professor of management and holds the India Studies Super Professorship in the College of Liberal Arts. Menon has been at LSUS since 2002. Mike Simon is an instructor of accounting and the director of the internship program. He began teaching at LSUS last year.
Peters, Lin and Menon will each receive a check for $500 and Simon will receive a $250 check from the College of Business Administration Council of Excellence funds. |
