| LSU Shreveport has joined YOUniversityTV.com, a new college video resource community for prospective students. The website offers an interactive virtual environment that allows prospective students to explore universities across the United States without leaving their home.
A video tour of LSU Shreveport is available on the website. The video, produced by YOUniversityTV, features current students and faculty and profiles the university’s academics, student life, athletics and more.
“The best thing about YOUniversityTV’s video tour of our campus is that all the input about LSU Shreveport came directly from our students and faculty,” said Robert Hosier, student recruiter. “It really gives a potential student a taste of life at LSU Shreveport.”
“This is a wonderful vehicle for prospective students to discover what LSU Shreveport has to offer.” said Mickey Diez, dean of enrollment services and registrar. “Utilizing today’s technology allows us to recruit students in a multitude of cost-effective ways. YOUniversityTV is an effective tool in that effort.”
