| Jennifer LaPierre, Director of Media and Public Relations, received the 2009 LSUS Deans’ Award. The purpose of the Deans’ Award is to recognize an LSU Shreveport faculty or staff member who supports the academic programs in an exemplary way.
In her short time at LSUS, LaPierre has published five LSUS Magazines; produced numerous television, print and web advertisements; implemented a comprehensive website; developed and maintained relationships with local media; and engaged in high school recruitment marketing strategies. She is also the campus sponsor for Phi Mu Fraternity.
LaPierre is a member of the United Way Community Impact Council and was a Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2008. She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and resides in Bossier City, La. with her husband Chris and children, Kennedy and Brady. |
