Dr. Dalton Cloud

Professor Emeritus Dr. Dalton Cloud and his wife Peggy have donated $60,000 to the LSUS Foundation to establish The Dr. Dalton and Peggy Cloud Endowed Professorship in Communications in the College of Liberal Arts.

"LSUS has been a part of my life for the past 40 years," said Dr. Cloud. "LSUS has also been a part of my wife's life for many years. It was the teachers I've met and the students that I've met that made me want to do this."

To establish an endowed professorship, a private donation of $60,000 will be submitted to the Board of Regents for matching funds of $40,000 to equal a $100,000 endowed professorship.

Cloud was an original faculty member at LSUS when the campus opened in 1967. He retired as Professor Emeritus in 1995.
