LSUS LEAD, Leadership Education And Development, is a unique interinstitutional academic program designed to offer LSUS students in all majors the opportunity to gain leadership knowledge, skills, and abilities.  LEAD gives students the opportunity to add value to their LSUS degree by showing future employers that they have obtained extensive leadership education and training.  

The LEAD mission statement:
LSUS LEAD develops progressive, knowledgeable, skillful, and ethical leaders of character through an extensive leadership education and development program incorporating both classroom and real world learning and practice.
