LSUS Women’s Basketball

The LSUS Lady Pilots (18-2, 8-1) jumped up one spot to No. 21 in the latest NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.  LSUS has been ranked No. 22 for the past three weeks and finally moved up in the rankings after winning six of seven games since entering the Top 25.

The No. 21 ranking is the highest in the history of the women’s basketball program.

LSUS Men’s Basketball

The LSUS men’s team fell three spots to No. 23 in this week’s NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.   LSUS posted a 2-1 record last week in conference play, falling on the road versus Loyola and winning at home versus Dillard and Mobile.

The Pilots (14-7, 7-2) are currently in first place in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference standings, holding a one-game lead over Tougaloo, Xavier and Loyola.
