LSUS Marketing Club Attends AMA International Intercollegiate Conference

Eleven members of the LSUS Marketing Club and School of Business attended the 36th annual American Marketing Association (AMA) International Intercollegiate Conference in New Orleans, April 10-12. These students included: Eman Bader, Ryan Bailey, Ariana Boyd, LaDarrius Bush, Christy Iacobbo, Marquetta Johnson, Johnathon Koury, Thang Ngyuen, Ron Sheline, Mehar Sikand, and Amber Tinker.

The AMA Conference provided a valuable experience for these students, who were given the opportunity to hear how the real world works from business experts, such as Alexandre Hohagen, V.P. of Latin American Operations for Facebook, and Luke Wyckoff, Chief Visionary Officer for Social Media Energy. These marking club students were also given the opportunity to network with over 1,200 other students from 170 different universities from around the world.
