Why LSUS’ management and administration program?

LSUS’ management and administration major emphasizes the skills today’s business majors need most: problem solving, leadership and working with people. You’ll learn from internationally diverse faculty who are accessible teachers and experienced business leaders. Concentrations in human resource management and international business give you the chance to specialize your studies to prepare for some of today’s most in-demand business careers. The management degree is transfer-student friendly, allowing you to apply more transfer credits towards your degree. You can also easily double-major in management and marketing, or pursue a minor outside of the School of Business. Either option can enhance your marketability and attractiveness to employers.

Experiential learning to prepare for real-world careers

As a management major, you’ll have access to internships and study abroad courses, with the opportunity to intern with well-known firms throughout Louisiana. Our management students have worked with companies such as State Farm, Cintas and Enterprise, and internships often lead to job offers. Many classes offer other hands-on learning opportunities that will take your business education beyond the classroom and into the real world. Our faculty and advising team will help you choose the right courses based on your business emphasis and professional goals.
