At LSUS, you’ll find a computer science program that is highly student-oriented. Your bachelor’s degree study will expose you to a wide range of technologies and experiences, ultimately preparing you to continue your education or start your career.
Hands-on experience
Computer science majors are involved in hands-on projects as early as their first year. You’ll get to use new technologies like virtual reality headsets and take courses such as artificial intelligence, robotics, bioinformatics, networks, cybersecurity, mobile development and data mining.
Student life
Among LSUS’ 70+ clubs and organizations are the Computer Science Club, the Computer Game Development Club and the Cybersecurity Club. From regional and national competitions to weekly lunches with area professionals, these organizations are great opportunities to build a résumé and make connections.
