The Nonprofit Administration Student Organization at LSUS is an opportunity for sociology majors to come together and give back to the community. This is only one of LSUS’ 70+ clubs and organizations, and many offer the opportunity to network with area professionals.  

Hands-on learning 

Although there’s plenty of hands-on learning that takes place in the classroom and around campus, LSUS sociology majors often participate in an internship prior to graduation. Recent internships have taken place at the YWCA, the Caddo District Attorney’s Office, HOPE Connection, and the HUB Urban Ministries Program.
