Shreveport, LA-Vaccinated faculty, staff, and students at LSU Shreveport have the chance to win big in the university's campus-wide cash lottery, Pilot Powerball. The lottery has prizes totaling $20,000, with the majority of funds being given to face-to-face students. The campaign is an extra incentive for the LSUS community, following the recent announcement that all face-to-face LSUS students and must show evidence of at least one COVID-19 vaccination shot or begin regular COVID testing starting September 13, 2021.
The Pilot Powerball will be hosted at 2 p.m. on four drawing days-August 30, September 20, October 4, October 14. The first 14 prizes ranging from $200 to $1,000 will be drawn on Monday, August 30.
Winners must be LSUS faculty, staff, or students; report vaccination status through the provided link; and show proof of vaccination. Vaccinations will be verified before prizes are awarded. Prizes are sponsored by the LSUS Foundation.
