Biography
Dr. Katherine Wickstrom received her PhD in School Psychology from LSU Baton Rouge in 1995 and has worked as a school-based mental health provider, a research associate, a certified school psychologist in public schools, and a university faculty member. She has coordinated the culminating internship experience in school psychology for over 20 years. Dr. Wickstrom has been involved at the state level in school psychology and has been on the Program Accreditation Board for the National Association of School Psychologists for 14 years.
Dr. Wickstrom has been at LSUS since 2008 where she taught full-time in the Psychology Department until 2020. She currently serves as the Associate Dean for the College of Education and Human Development and continues to serve as a core school psychology faculty member, coordinating the culminating SSP internship experience.
