Lauren Loyless-Bouabid

Biography

Dr. Loyless-Bouabid holds a PhD from The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) with research publications focused on communication and leadership. After beginning her career in corporate advertising and marketing, she transitioned to education in 2014, serving as the Director of Communications for K-12 schools. In 2020, she joined FEMA to assist with disaster communication efforts before moving to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in 2021, where she works as a Risk Communication Social Scientist. Dr. Loyless-Bouabid also lectures in Business Communication at UTD’s Naveen Jindal School of Management and serves as an adjunct professor in the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) graduate program at The University of Mississippi.
